COLUMBUS TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM (CTSS)

CCI created an assessment and strategic plan for the migration of the CTSS to a new, open architecture infrastructure to implement future projects within the Transportation Division. The goal was to maintain system connectivity and interoperability, which included design of a new fiber optic network.  GIS was utilized to map and catalog the existing system of roughly 1,500 signals and control units for base plans, then proposed work for each intersection was drawn.  Sub to HNTB Companies.  Final completion of summer 2019.
