Community involvement

CCI has long been active in the Columbus, Ohio area in support of many worthwhile community projects, and encourages all employees to serve in their own communities through their own passions.

We live the guiding principle of paying it forward, contributing to youth education, scholarships, and career education and guidance to women and minorities.

VirDeCon Business Acelerator

Joyce Johnson and Jack Ray founded the VirDeCon Business Accelerator 501 (c) (3) to provide proactive training to help individuals and companies embark in the Virtual Design and Construction industry.

STEM Industry Council

The SInC Advisory Board works to provide paid Summer Work Experience for qualified Columbus City School students, with a special emphasis on those studying STEM-focused curriculums.

Children´  s Water Festival

CCI staff contribute every year to the Children’s Water Festival in Columbus, Ohio through OSU and the Water Resources Center.  Each summer middle school children learn about water’s physical properties and important infrastructure while promoting environmental awareness.  Learn more at https://wrc.osu.edu/outreach/childrens-water-festival%C2%A0

Boy Scouts of America Exploring Program

CCI has partnered with Burgess and Niple, Inc. and The Ohio State University to sponsor a Boy Scouts of America Exploring Post in Columbus, Ohio. Exploring is a career education program that provides hands-on activities for students aged 14-20 to explore their stated career interest before beginning college.
