CCI worked on the design of the Terminal Intermodal Terminal Facility, Automated People Mover, Passenger Drop Off Lobby, and also assisted with program management. We provided BIM services and coordination for Fire Protection systems through final construction. CCI was contracted to perform a BIM Operational Readiness Assessment to evaluate their organization, BIM standards and processes as well as their existing library of already delivered BIMs from past projects. The goal was to identify how GOAA could derive the most benefit from BIM during the post-construction life cycle, and what level of effort would be required organizationally to utilize BIM as a resource.
The final report identified 8 key needs that would be addressed by an application of BIM to support post construction operations and maintenance services. Project highlights: BIM Needs Assessment, Existing BIM QA/QC and Health Check Rating, Interviews with Key Stakeholder Groups, BIM Process Mapping, BIM Business Case, BIM ROI.
